

ANZAC DAY Mount Gambier 2022

Anzac Day is observed annually on April 25th, the anniversary of the Dardanelles Campaign Landing in 1915, and traditionally includes commemorations across the country at dedicated war memorials, community precincts and RSL Sub-Branches. Anzac Day is honoured with a national public holiday. Monday 25th April 2022 will be a public holiday in South Australia and the Northern Territory.
6:10am Dawn Service – Soldiers War Memorial – Vansittart Gardens -Commercial Street West.
Gunfire Breakfast to follow – RSL Clubrooms, Sturt Street.
9:00am Air Force Service, Airmen’s Grave at Lake Terrace Cemetery.
9:00am Boer War Service at the Boer War Memorial on corner of Bay Road and Lake Terrace West.
10:00amMarch Assembly, Old Town Hall – Street March and Mid morning Service- City Town Hall to Vansittart War Memorial.
10:30am Mid Morning Service – Vansittart Gardens – Soldiers War Memorial – Commercial Street West.
