Crooning troubadour and old time folk singer, William Alexander (the kid from Bourke), brings back the songs of hillbilly and country musics greatest figures as well as his own songs of the new world and all its trials and tragedies. Born and raised on the western plains of New South Wales, the 22 year old yodelling songster has been singing to folks far and wide from city jazz bars and clubs to big old shearing sheds and verandas. In recent times Williams performances include special guest Blackwood fiddler Cat Moser who features on the recently released record “The Kid From Bourke”, out now through Green South Records.
The concert features a special guest performance by Katelyn Lapatha.
