Crank the Crater 2022

Based in Mount Gambier, Crank the Crater is a fun challenge event, starting at the Valley Lake/Ketla Malpi and working it’s way up to the Lions Lookout Carpark. Challenge yourself, your friends or family up the challenging climb!
The Crank The Crater Hill Climb will be an open event to anyone who can ride a bike. Entrants will be timed as they cycle along Davison Drive from the bottom of the car park up to and turning into Elliot Drive, finishing at the Centenary Tower car park. Riders will set off in one minute intervals and the time recorded when they get to the top at the Centenary Tower car park. Depending on entry numbers prizes may be given for the fastest time for different classes of bikes (mountain, Road, BMX) and ages.
