Karate SA 2023 – Mount Gambier

Karate  is a martial art sport that places a strong emphasis on student discipline and traditional Japanese etiquette. The Open Championships will be held at Wulanda Recreation Centre in Mount Gambier . The event will take place on Sunday, June 11, 2023. Come down and watch the athlete's compete for the championship title!

Come down the the Wulanda Recreation and Convention Centre and watch the Annual Mount Gambier Highland Dancing Festival - Southern States Championships and supporting events! Commencing Saturday 10 June 2023 at 1:00pm to 5:00pm with supporting events. Sunday 11 June 2023 commencing at 8:30am until 4pm , Southern States Championships Entry Fee: $5.00 adult $2.00 child.

This Reconciliation Week join Little Blue Wren for an Aboriginal Weaving Workshop. Participants will have the chance to learn the craft of coil weaving and  basket making which has been passed down from generation to generation. Everyone will have the opportunity to start a basket (progress will depend on how fast you can weave!!), make a set of woven earrings or a coaster. All materials will be provided.
