Following five months of consultation across the South Australia, including a visit to the Limestone Coast, a draft South Australia Visitor Economy Sector Plan 2030 has been developed. This plan is now available for review. The plan will be available for feedback until Friday 29 March 2019. New prehistoric fossil discovery!

A local cave diver has made a once in a life time discovery of prehistoric mega fauna fossils while diving in one of Mount Gambier's largest cave systems. Among these fossils were the bones of Australia's largest carnivorous mammal, the marsupial lion (Thylacoleo carnifex).
