What is Mount Gambier Parkrun?

Up to a challenge? Want to get fit at your own pace and monitor your improvement week by week? Like to meet like minded people and enjoy a social outing? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions you might like to give Parkrun a try! You will run or walk a 5km track at your own pace, it’s you against the clock and no one else!

Not only will you get your daily dose of exercise, you can take in the wonderment of the surroundings. The Blue Lake is truly a magnificent sight at any time of year but especially during the months from November to December when it turns a brilliant turquoise blue.

If you are a visitor to the area, please come along and meet the locals. A post Parkrun coffee at one of the best cafés in town is always a highlight, please come along and join everyone!

When and where is it?

In Mount Gambier Parkrun is held every Saturday at 8am. The event takes place from Blue Lake reserve Mount Gambier.

What does it cost?

It costs absolutely nothing to do Parkrun! It’s completely free but you will be asked to register before your first run. This is a one off requirement, just remember once registered to bring your printed copy of your barcode along with you each time you participate. If you forget you won’t get a time for your run.
